Touch-A-Truck at the Northwestern Ohio Railroad Preservation
The Museum will be closed, as we will be exploring and investigating trucks, cars, tractors, and more at our annual Touch-A-Truck Event. Come out and explore a variety of vehicles at the Northwestern Ohio Railroad Preservation, located at 12505 County Rd 99, Findlay. This is a FREE community event. Food trucks and vendors will be aviable.
Music Time with Heartstring Melodies
Join us as we welcome Heartstring Melodies to the Museum for an interactive music workshop. This one-hour-long program is included with admission; no registration required.
Kick off the School Year!
Join us as we “Kick off the School” by collecting shoes for those in need and celebrate with special activities in addition to our daily exhibits and offerings.
Guests will receive $1 off their admission when they donate a pair of gently used shoes for our shoe drive. The discount is limited to $1 per person, but donate as many pairs of shoes as you would like!
Adult and children’s sizes accepted.
Fluffy Slime Workshop
Participants will stir, stretch, and customize their very own fluffy slime to take home and enjoy.
Fine Motor Friday
Each month, work on building up those fine motor skills - essential for school readiness! A station will be set up for families to work together to cut, paste, stack, twist, pinch, hammer, or otherwise manipulate materials while creating an art project, enjoying a game, or participating in a unique activity. Activities vary, so be sure to check it out!
Color Wheel Spinners Station
Stop by the Art Station in the party room and make a color wheel spinner. This station is included with registration; no registration required.
Hot Air Balloon Craft Workshop
An interactive session for makers and thinkers to collaborate, connect, and spark new ideas.
